Does impact really apply to the impact that you make or sometimes it depends how your boss your family friend your community likes you as a persons. Because there are many people who are very effective in their jobs and take responsibility of their roles, but personally the boss will not like you so your impact kind of diminish and the person whom does not really do the job just because the boss like the person him or her impact kind of overrules your effectiveness.
